GRAND TERRACE, Calif., July 17 (Grand Terrace News) — Grand Terrace is adding another art-minded gathering to its local calendar, with a July 15 report describing a new community experience built around relaxed painting and sketching for residents.

The activity was described as an effort to encourage creativity, social interaction and artistic expression. The available report snippet did not identify the venue, organizer or registration details.

The city’s official community calendar shows a steady run of arts programming in recent months, including Grand Terrace Lions Paint & Sip at Woody’s Classic Grill, a Seniors’ Creative Art Contest at City Hall and the free Tales of Enchantment Summer Reading Program at the Grand Terrace Branch.

Grand Terrace also drew regional notice last year when it was featured in the October 2025 edition of Inland Empire: The Magazine of Artful Living in the magazine’s “Cities to Watch” section. Grand Terrace High School’s Associated Student Body also hosted an inaugural senior parking spot painting event on Aug. 10, turning student parking spaces into painted displays.
