ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Anaheim, California, reopened after state inspectors found no operational issues following an incident in which a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final drop.

Disneyland said cast members stopped the ride immediately after the boy got out of the vehicle on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The resort said he was taken to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation and was later released.

The attraction stayed closed for the rest of Sunday and resumed operation after an inspection by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, or Cal/OSHA. NBC News reported that Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek said investigators “did not find any operational issues.”

NBC News and TMZ reported video of the incident, and NBC said it confirmed the footage. Disneyland did not identify the child or say why he exited the ride vehicle before the final plunge.
